The 5th Biology Education Symposium is being held as part of the 15th Croatian Biology Congress, where the results of the STEM 1 part of the Green STEM project were presented. The presentation entitled “The Fifth Element: How to Connect Biology with Chemistry, Mathematics and Geophysics?” was given by Zrinka Pongrac Štimac. The interdisciplinary activities and fieldwork were described to the attending teachers, which were prepared in the form of teaching scenarios by teachers from the V. Gymnasium in Zagreb: Marijana Žgela Putniković, Sanja Vorih, Ivana Martinić, Milena Ćulav Markičević and Zrinka Pongrac Štimac.
