On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, our school hosted the final conference of the Green STEM project, which we have been part of since 2023. In the opening part of the conference, the teachers involved in the project presented this international initiative that connects four European schools with a common goal: to develop a modern, interdisciplinary curriculum focused on sustainability, environmental awareness, and innovative teaching approaches.
They highlighted how the project has influenced our school, enriched our teaching practices, and presented the various activities implemented across different subject areas.
Following the presentations, five workshops were organized for our students and guests from other schools:
- How to Obtain Erasmus+ Accreditation?
- Climate Change
- Lichens as Indicators of Air Quality
- Mathematics with Computers
- Programming with Sense HAT
We would like to thank all participants and our partner schools: the 5th Gymnasium from Zagreb (Croatia), the Private Gymnasium Algoritam from Skopje (North Macedonia), and the National College “Dragoș Vodă” from Câmpulung Moldovenesc (Romania).
